How to Make New Light Facial Hair & New Re-Growth Hairs from Rogaine Stand Out

Face it, sometimes new whiskers and Rogaine re-growth comes in blond. It can take a while for these new hairs to get their natural pigment.

Believe me, I have experienced both and experienced the effects of the acne wash system, Proactiv bleaching out my moustache and some of the finer cheek whiskers.

I waited too long for facial hair to watch a very good product bleach out the color and I worked too hard to re-grow lost hairs on the crown of my head and the front to wait months for them to gain the natural color of the rest of my hair.

The solution? Grecian Formula Moustache & Beard Color and Just For Men 5 Minute Moustache & Beard Gel. You can buy either one of these products for between $5.00 & $8.00. Be sure to buy the color that closely matches your head hair or if you are using it on your new facial hair, buy a color that matches your side burns, which should have pigment right off.

Don't waste your time with mascara. It wipes off and it can smudge making an embarrassing situation right on your face. Plus the mascara is a well known dyke or drag king trick and that's not who we are. No offense to the dykes or drag kings.

All you have to do is use either of those very goods products to dye your new facial hair or bleached out facial hair and new hair re-growth, as in my case, and bring those babies to life!

How to Color Your Facial Hair

Tip: Do this in the bathroom in front of your medicine cabinet mirror.

Mix up in the enclosed tray, small equal amounts of the two tubes that are on the box, one is color and the other is color developer. Only mix as much as you think you'll need. If you need more, you can always mix more but if you mix too much, you'll waste it.

Once you have the 2 parts mixed, use the enclosed small brush/applicator (Just for Men's brush/applicator is brown. Grecian has a blue handled brush/applicator) to scoop up a brush full and apply carefully to just the whiskers. If you get it on your face or lip, you can use a damp q-tip and wipe around the moustache or beard where the gel is on the skin.

Tip: Grecian does a better job at just dying the whiskers and leaving the skin alone even when it gets on the skin. Just for Men tends to dye the skin easier.

Leave on for 5 minutes. Check and see if the gel has changed color. Don't panic, the gel will look too dark but when washed off, it won't be that dark. If you leave it on longer, it might dye the hair too dark, so watch the clock.

Wash off and use a mild soap like Dove to wash residue off the hairs and skin. You're done! Hello hidden facial hair!

If you have new hair growth on your head from the effects of Rogaine or Minoxidil, chances are they are blond or damn near white and though there is hair in the once thinning areas, since there is no pigment, under light it still looks like you have no hair.

Use the same products, your choice which, and apply to the vertex or crown where the new hairs are and or to the front area ( where girls bangs are) where there is new growth.

How to Color Your New Head Hair Re-Growth

Tip: Do this in the bathroom in front of your medicine cabinet mirror.

Mix up in the enclosed tray, small equal amounts of the two tubes that are on the box, one is color and the other is color developer. Only mix as much as you think you'll need. If you need more, you can always mix more but if you mix too much, you'll waste it.

Have a hand mirror handy.

Once you have the 2 parts mixed, use the enclosed small brush/applicator (Just for Men's brush/applicator is brown. Grecian has a blue handled brush/applicator) to scoop up a brush full, take the hand mirror in the other hand, turn your back to the medicine cabinet mirror and watch as you apply the gel to the entire crown of your head. Be sure to cover all the new lighter hairs.

In the case of the front area, do the same as above but apply to the new hairs in the front.

Leave on for 5 minutes. Check and see if the gel has changed color. Don't panic, the gel will look too dark but when washed off, it won't be that dark. If you leave it on longer, it might dye the hair too dark, so watch the clock.

Wash your hair. Your new hairs will now match the rest of your head hair.
