Nick

When I got my first professional tattoo, I decided a new section dedicated to tattoos sported by Transmen or allies of Transmen would be a nice addition to the Transitional Male site.

I am very proud of my Bettie Page tatt and plan to get several more (not Bettie - 1 of her is all I need) - possibly a 3/4 sleeve on one or both arms. When they say tattoo's are addictive, they weren't kidding. Whomever 'they' are.

Recently I has the memorial tattoo I drew for my father put on my left upper arm (see added section below) Next I want a tattoo across my upper back that reads "Loner" in a nice traditional script

Taken December 2005 She's 4 days old - taken with my crappy old camera

Taken April 18, 2006 (in my underwear)- she's almost 4 months old - taken with my new digital camera - she needs some touch-ups - will get them when I go for my Dad's memorial tattoo this month (will post scan of original artwork by me soon) (hey max, eat me - her name has been spelled right on this page from the jump)

 Nick Tattoo 2

Just Added July 8, 2006

As promised, here are two views of a tattoo artists rendition of the memorial tattoo I drew for my father. Jody Benner, tattoo artist and owner of Mystical Illusions Piercing and Tattoo shop, did this tattoo July 7, 2006. I gave him my drawing of the memorial tattoo and told him it would be okay for him to draw up his interpretation of my drawing. ( See below for a scan of his original drawing without shading) His version was and is amazing and I gave the okay to apply to my upper left arm.

MacGuyver

Here are my Tatt's I got beginning of last year. The first is day one, when it bruised like a mother from inking the underside of my arm last, and then the finished product. I chose the design of celtic armband, sort of my confirmation of self, then the piece that tied the band together is  3 interlocking circles, representing mind, body, spirit interconnecting. (Nick's notes: I have asked Mac to send biggest photos - will post when I get them)

(Mac! I need the larger photos of these sent to me again; thank, Nick)

Xavier & Diva

Xavier's first tattoo he carries us on his back.

(The Left photo has been retouched by Nick to reduce glare caused by substance applied to help tattoo heal/remain colorful)

Diva's 5th Tat' Nubian in Arabic - she has plenty of other tats she hasn't taken pictures of yet

L.C.

L.C shares.:The tattoo "assume nothing" reminds me to have an open mind about everyone and don't assume things you don't know. Everyone makes assumptions, not just about gender, and a lot of the time those assumptions are wrong. So, it's kind of my way of empowering myself not to make assumptions about others, because I certainly don't wanting them making assumptions about me.

If you have your own tattoo design then print it out with some good quality printer ink and bring it to the parlor. The right printer ink means you'll have the right colors printed out--just try to recycle your printer ink cartridge afterwards if possible.
