1: Why does the top of my packer pop out
the shaft opening of the cock sock and cock strap?
- The issue isn't the opening, it's the packer.
- If a packer had a tab on the top side, like a
strap-on or prosthetic does, it wouldn't pop out of the openings.
- This doesn't always happen but it can. There is
no way to prevent this from happening over time because of how packers are
made.
- Every effort has been made to make these
packing devises very effective and for over 6 years hundreds of Transmen have
been packing with more confidence. We rarely hear complaints about this issue.
Most are inventive enough to solve the issue themselves or they simply stop
using the opening.
- The only way to remedy this is to insert the
packer shaft into a plastic or metal washer to keep the top edge of the packer
from coming out of the opening. This would be very effective but it would be
obvious - it would be seen.
- We have tried different things like this but it
was impractical.
- If the opening of your FTM< Cock Sock or FTM
Cock Strap becomes stretched out and the top of the packer protrudes through
it, tuck it back in.
- If it becomes a persistent problem, get a
needle and thread then sew the top or bottom edge of the opening shut to make
it smaller.
- If you feel you don't have the skills to do
this, tuck the packer shaft into the pouch. Don't use the opening anymore.
- Next time order the Cock Sock 1 without the
opening.
- If you don't want to do it, send it back and
the Gear Guy will do what he can to fix it but note: as the opening stretches
back out again, it will occur again.

2: Why do you only offer 1.5 inch elastic?
- First, we are glad you noticed that this is the
only width we offer. We make it very clear on the pages that we only offer
1.5" elastic. It is not hidden nor do we withhold this information. You are
made aware of this prior to you requesting items be made for you so you can
make an informed decision.
- Now, to keep costs down for these items, what
you pay per unit, we purchase elastic from the manufacturer instead of paying
retail. But we must order a MINIMUM of 850 yards of the colors they offer:
white and black.
- What does that mean to you?
- Simply put, you pay less.
- If we had to pay retail for the amount of elastic needed
to make all the cock socks and cock straps we do in a year, you'd pay $18
(or more) per item as apposed to $10 and $12 respectively.
- One inch elastic retail is $1.00 per yard, if we are
lucky and sometimes $1.25 per yard. It is easy to go through 700 yards of
white elastic in one year.
- 700 x $1 = $700 or 700 x 1.25 = $875.00. That would
be just for white elastic. We could easily go through approx. 500
yards of black per year.
- When we buy from the manufacturer, we pay, on average,
.35 cents per yard for white and a few cents more for black. You do the
math.
- If we were to buy 850 yards of white and 850
yards of black in one inch from the manufacturer, to satisfy the few who like
a smaller width, expect the price for the FTM Cock Sock and the FTM Cock Strap
to go up to $18 each for 1 inch and 1.5" to recoup the cost.
- We are simply not big enough nor have the
demand to justify the extra cost and raising the price that much would be
unfair to you guys.
The solution? If you want 1 inch, tell us. We will go
buy a few yards to complete your order but the cost of each item with 1" elastic
will be more since we will be paying retail for the elastic. We estimate the
cost per unit requested with a smaller width elastic will be $1. If you are
willing to pay $1 more per unit requested to get a smaller width elastic, we
will be happy to accommodate you.
FYI: My favorite underwear that I wear daily are
Dickies. They have 1.5" elastic. This is where I got the idea for wider and the
guys have loved the extra width. Another tid-bit. Many and I mean many
guys have asked for 3" elastic, like athletic supporters are made from. We had
to tell them no, as well. They either settled for 1.5", we went and tried to
find 3", charged them more per unit or they bought the elastic and sent it to us
for their order.
We are not trying to be unfair, just practical/pragmatic.

3: How long will it take for you to make and
mail my items?
- First and foremost: All orders are made in the order they
are paid for, to be fair to everyone.
- Second: All items, except for soft packers, are NOT mass
produced. These are custom made items, based on an individual's needs and
desires - these items take time to make. You want them made right, don't
you?
- How long to make and when shipped is based on these
factors:
- When you order is paid in full, using one of the 3
payment forms you will be advised of through email.
- Once payment is received, your ticket will be pulled
the marked with the amount paid, the date paid, the payment form then
date paid section will marked with an orange highlighter. If you mail
you payment, you must ask to be notified when it arrives otherwise, you
will not be notified via email or text message.
- Your ticket is then placed on a clipboard in
chronological order - meaning it is placed behind any ticket that has
been paid for before yours
- There could be 1 ahead of yours or there could be
many
- If you are wanting underwear (Briefs, Boxer-Briefs,
Boxers), the time to complete and mail is a little longer because we
often times do not have the style and color on hand. We then go out and
buy multi-packs for that persons request within 2 days of payment made.
- Ship days are usually Tuesday and Friday. This can
vary, meaning, we can place packages out for the mail person to pick-up
on a non-ship day, depending on time constraints. No orders are
mailed over the weekend or on a holiday

4: How long will it take for my package to get
to me?
This depends on what shipment method you paid
for or what was included in the price of your items. All packages are shipped
via the US Postal Service.

5: Shipment options USA:
- First Class Mail - This method takes 7 business
days or less. It can take more depending on the time of year. This is the
least expensive however, if you have several items, your package may need to
be shipped Priority Mail.
- Priority Mail - Not Guaranteed - This method takes
2-3 days however, it can take more than 3. This is NOT a guaranteed service
by the US Postal Service.
- Express Mail - Guaranteed - This method can take
as little as 1 business day or 2 business days, depending on the area you
are in. Some towns and cities are 2 days due to location. This IS a
guaranteed service by the US Postal Service.
IMPORTANT! After
you are notified that your package has shipped, the information below will
help you regarding shipment issues.
- By request only, you will be given a Delivery
Confirmation number (through email or text message) when your package has
been mailed.
- You can check when it was accepted by the US Postal
Service and when it was accepted into your city by your local post office
at: www.usps.com.
- You cannot track any point in between.
- If, after the times listed above, your package has not
been delivered to you or your postal carrier has not left you to pick up
notice on where to pick up your package, it will be your responsibility to
check with your local post office and if necessary, file all appropriate
paperwork to find your package.
- Please do not contact us asking where your package is
until after the maximum time limit for delivery has come and gone (see
above) and you have exhausted all the avenues given to you in this notice.
- If there is a problem with delivery, your package will be
sent back to us. We will then notify you and discuss reshipment options,
depending on why the package was not deliverable (see delivery issues
below).
- If your package has been lost, you must wait 30 business
days from the ship date before your order is remade and sent to you (see
delivery issues for conditions). You may be asked to pay shipping.
- If you provided an improper mailing address or incomplete
mailing address, name your postal service does not recognize *,
you will need to pay to have your packaged shipped back to you.
- If it was our fault, meaning we did not fill out the
shipping label properly, we will pay all charges to have your package
shipped back to you.
* Delivery Issues:
For instance:
- If you have not yet had your name changed legally but ask
that your package be shipped to your chosen male name, your package may not
be delivered to you because:
- The deed to your home or the rental agreement or lease
on your house or apartment is under your given name not your chosen male
name, which is what your postal service knows you as.
- It is your responsibility to notify us if you feel
there may be a problem sending a package to your chosen male name! If
you fail to provide us with the correct name and your package is
returned 'Undeliverable" because of "No such name", you will need to pay
for a second shipping. No refunds will be given on your items if you
chose not to pay extra shipping.
- Your name is not on the deed to the home or the rental
agreement or lease on the house or apartment you are staying at. In this
case, you will need to provide an "In Care of" name as the first person
listed on the package.
- It is your responsibility to notify us of this kind
of issue or if you feel here may be a problem! If you fail to provide us
with an "In Care of" person and your package is returned 'Undeliverable"
because of "No such name", you will need to pay for a second shipping.
No refunds will be given on your items if you chose not to pay extra
shipping.
- This is why it is so important for you to give proper
mailing information to avoid delays, lost packages or more shipping
charges.

6: Shipment options INTERNATIONAL:
- Air Freight Mail - This method can take 2 or more
weeks as the package will go by boat/ship across the ocean. It can take more
depending on the time of year. This is often the least expensive however, if
can end up costing more than other methods. Please note: A package can be
delayed more days if your customs holds the package for an extended period.
- Air Mail - This method takes about 14 business
days often less, depending on the country. Please note: A package can be
delayed more days if your customs holds the package for an extended period
even if it arrived before 10 days
- Global Priority Mail - Not Guaranteed - Our
Preferred Shipping Method. This method can take as little as 7 business
days, depending on the area you are in. It is often cheaper than Air Mail!
This is NOT a guaranteed service by the US Postal Service. Please note: A
package can be delayed more days if your customs holds the package for an
extended period.
- Global Express Mail - Guaranteed - This method can
take as little as 2 business days, depending on the country or area you are
in. This IS a guaranteed service by the US Postal Service for a considerable
price ($45 or more). Please note: A package can be delayed more days if your
customs holds the package for an extended period even if it arrived in the
time promised. No refunds will be given for shipping if your customs logs in
the package on the day promised. It is your responsibility to contact your
customs office regarding where you package is.
IMPORTANT! After you are
notified that your package has shipped, the information below will help you
regarding shipment issues.
- You will be given a customs tracking number through email
when your package has been mailed.
- You can check when it was accepted by the US Postal
Service and when it was accepted into your country by your customs at:
www.usps.com.

package, it will be your responsibility to check with your customs and if
