All items are inspected and seams tested before sending.

These items are not mass produced nor are they professionally made. The maker does not claim to be a professional tailor. They are made in the most professional way possible to give you an effective product that does what it is designed to do and have a relatively long life span.

The designs and names for The FTM Cock Sock© or FTM Cock Strap© are protected by a US Copyright. You will find more information on this further down. It is strongly advised that you read it.

Please note, no elastic will last forever. Any elastic will tear or stretch out under certain conditions such as, but not limited to, how long you have had the item, how rough on your cock sock [clothing, in general] when worn or how your item has been cared for from the beginning.

Possible reasons for problems with The FTM Cock Sock© or The FTM Cock Strap©:

  • Improper washing: Always wash on gentle cycle and do not place in the washer or dryer along with clothing that has zippers, snaps or sharp edges. This will cause damage to the elastic. The elastic may be stiff at first but will soften after each wash. Be sure to use liquid fabric softener to achieve softness faster.

  • How you put on or take off your FTM Cock Sock© or FTM Cock Strap©: If you pull on the strap to position the waistband low on your hips, the seams that attach the strap or pouch to the elastic will begin to stress then will certainly rip after! Use the waistband to position low on the hips.

  • Improper Sizing: If you did not measure your low hip area [where men's under wear is worn] and ordered your waistband too small, it will not last as long. This will cause the elastic to stretch out and cause stress at the seams! All waistband sizes are based on popular men's underwear sizes and are often a little wider.

There is no reason, whatsoever, why you cannot get at least 6 months of trouble free use before you see any stress in the elastic. Some users, who have taken good care of their cock sock, washed them right and treated them with care while putting on or taking off, have gotten 1-2 years use out of them.

How long this item lasts is up to you. Just remember, Nothing is perfect. However, problems can happen that are not your doing.

 The Warrantee:

  • If a seam comes undone, that is a manufacture issue so you should alert us the moment that something happens- not when you are ready to order again, to ensure your item or items are repaired free. Nothing is perfect!!!

  • You have a 30 day warrantee regarding any tears or seam issues occurring after item is delivered.

  • If there is a failure, you can send back for repairs or replacement within that 30 day period with no charges incurred to you for the service After that 30 days, the warrantee has expired.

  • Warrantee starts the day your item delivered (verifiable through www.usps.com by the Delivery Confirmation code) and lasts for 30 calendar days thereafter.

  • Any items sent back within that time, will be inspected. If it's a manufacture error, it will be very obvious then the warrantee will be honored.

No exceptions - all sales final - no refunds - no discount on future orders unless it's determined for certain that the problem derived from the manufacturer.

Copyright Information

Recently an email challenging the copyrights to all registered products prompted this warning. A copyright was granted for the FTM Cock Sock and it's subsequent design changes. There are no pending copyright applications on file at this time though a new design has been created but research on it's design being copyrighted by another is still ongoing.

The US Library of Congress has scale drawings of the items listed on this page, text descriptions and dimensions of each and actual tangible samples on file.

Those who feel a copyright simply cannot be granted for these types of items needs to think again. An original design of an item that is made from cloth and elastic can be copyrighted under Drawings and Text and be legally copyrighted and protected. The item or items have to be past the idea stage, it must exist in tangible form, you cannot copyright an idea, just so you know, in the event you have dreamed up an idea for a packing device or other type of item.

Regarding this recent challenge from a person who shall not be named, already knowing my rights, I decided to get proof of what I know, in writing, from the Copyright Office and a well known Transman attorney. The Copyright office and Spencer Bergstedt, ESQ. Attorney at Law and a fellow Transman whom I contact about Trans-Legal matters regularly, both replied to my requests quickly. You can click either underlined section/name/title to read their replies.

This was the Library of Congress Copyright Office reply - I have included everything from them such as footer notes and email signature - I edited out the first part of the email address that I used to contact them (This being the one they have on file for me and that is also on all my copyrights themselves):

From Spencer Bergstedt Esq. Attorney at Law (click to learn more about this amazing man and Transman)

Excerpts from his reply regarding issues with the challenge about my copyrights from the person who shall not be named:

I wrote: "He wrote back saying he was a lawyer and that he looked into this for me pro bono, that I couldn't copyright what I make then quoted chapter and verse what I have already read on the Library of Congress site."

Spencer replied "Well that's not terribly accurate. You can, of course, copyright your design. What you don't have is a patent for the actual product, but that's somewhat irrelevant to the argument, since you copyrighted the design."

What I wrote to Spence about the issue of pro bono: "Can an attorney perform pro bono work for someone who didn't hire or ask them and still call it pro bono? I was under the impression one had to consult with an attorney first, ask if he or she does pro bono work, discuss the details and if accepted, sign an agreement or contract with the firm or attorney before the work is performed. How can an attorney perform a pro bono when not asked?"

Spencer replied "You never hired him. He has no attorney-client relationship with you."

I asked Spencer for the name of a charity he is involved with so I could make a donation as a thank you for his help now and over the years.

He suggested The March of Dimes. I encourage anyone reading this to do the same

In closing, as the holder of the copyright for the FTM Cock Sock line et al; and other copyrights for The FTM Cock Strap et al; I do not suggest copying my work especially for resale. The copyrights granted to me are legal and binding.

The good news is, you can create your own style of packing devise using elastic and fabric.

However, the Pouch designs including the Tear Drop shape and the U-Pouch shape of the FTM Cock Sock et al; including the option of the special opening in the front for the packer shaft to be pulled through and the option without the opening, are all protected by a US Copyright.

Please, do your homework first. Make sure you aren't violating anyone else's copyrighted designs!

Have a nice day

Nick
