The Newest addition to The T-Male Site

Contributing Editors Wanted!

Welcome to The T-Male Urban!

This is a new section of the T-Male site dedicated to Transmen just beginning their active transition.

The target demographic: Transmen  between the ages 17 - 30 or older. The time frame for being in active transition is between 0 and 4 years

It is my hope that the articles submitted will appeal to Transmen in this target range and appeal to those well into their transition or those who have finished theirs.

If you'd like to become a Contributing Editor, I ask that you think carefully about issues that mean something to you. The chances that you are alone in your thoughts regarding your transition, are slim.

There will always be someone else out there who feels as you do or has the same concerns as you do.

Tell the world! Become a contributing editor!

Qualifications:

A prospective Contributing Editor must be able to write effectively and be able to convey a message without being overly verbose (wordy). He must be willing to create an article that will not only convey a message but be helpful to others, as well. He must not use the position to demean others or allow his personal biases to hinder an open-minded stance towards others who are different from himself or use the position as a platform of superiority over those very new to transitioning.

Examples of differences:

  • Those who do not want bottom surgery
  • Those who do now want a hysterectomy
  • Gay Transmen
  • Straight Transmen
  • A-Sexual Transmen

In the event of such an occurrence, any editorial submitted for publication in the T-Male Urban area, will be rejected completely or asked to be re-written. Note that all submissions will be reviewed before publication. A prospective contributing editor must be able to take constructive criticism though it is doubtful that I will interfere.

Remember these 6 points when writing:

  • Who
  • What
  • When
  • Where
  • How
  • Why

Contributing Editors will not be paid by any means. However, Contributing Editors will get by-line credit for their submissions. If a Contributing Editor does not wish to use his real name, a pseudonym is acceptable and may be used.

*For the record, please note that I do not wish the word 'passing' to be used. The word 'passing' denotes a transitory implication that dressing or taking on a more male affect as temporary or superficial. The word Presenting denotes representation of the man they know they are.
